Edson Rigonatti

Edson Rigonatti is the Managing Partner at Astella. He began his professional life as a musician, just like many teenagers in the eighties, but also coded and developed his games. This knowledge led him to start working with tech at his family's retail business. He left the company for an MBA in Finance at Columbia University, then started a five-year tenure at Lucent Technologies, where he launched one of the first CVC's, globally. In 2002 he founded Cicerone Capital, an M&A boutique focused on TMT. He discovered his true calling when he was invited to become a mentor at Endeavor, helping entrepreneurs scale their businesses; this led to the founding of Astella alongside Laura Constantini, in 2008, starting a pioneering cycle in the Brazilian Venture Capital market. He is often recognized as one of the greatest references in Latin America when the subject is go-to-market and product management and is passionate about guiding entrepreneurs throughout their journey. He is the partner behind flagship investments like RD Station and Omie.
