Matías Gutiérrez

Matías Gutiérrez, a Partner, joined Linzor in 2007.

Prior to joining Linzor, Mr. Gutiérrez worked for three years as CEO of BP Lighting, a leading supplier of lighting solutions in Chile, where he led the restructuring of the company. Prior to that, he worked for three years in J.P. Morgan’s Investment Banking Division in Chile and New York, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Gutiérrez serves or has served on the board of directors of Inversiones Dental Salud SpA (Uno Salud), Pacifico Cable SpA (Mundo), Universidad Insurgentes Holding S.A.P.I. de C.V. and Santo Tomás S.A., Komax S.A., EFE Holding S.A. (EFE, Curacao and Financiera Efectiva), Cruz Blanca Salud S.A., and Integramédica, Clínica Reñaca, Clínica Antofagasta and Clínica Arica. He is also a part-time professor in the MBA program of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a board member of non-profit Enseña Chile.

Mr. Gutiérrez holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and MBA from Stanford University. He is a Chilean national.
