Luciana Antonini Ribeiro

Luciana Antonini Ribeiro is founding partner of eB Capital and a leading voice in climate and SDG investing.  

Luciana is chairwoman of the Brazil Climate Summit (BCS), an initiative of Brazilians businesses leaders, Columbia students and alumni and the Columbia Global Center - RJ. The first edition was held in 2022, at the Columbia Campus (NY). The BCS became an annual event with the focus on showing the Brazilian key role on the global decarbonization path. Luciana is also part of the technical advisory board of the Climate Hub, launched by the Columbia Global Center, in Rio de Janeiro.  

In 2023, Luciana was named as one of the 100 most innovative women in Brazil. In 2022, as one of the 20 Forbes Most Powerful Women in the country. For six years consecutively, she was nominated Top Women Investing in Latin American Tech, by Lavca. Besides, she was awarded, in 2019, the Sabiá Laranjeira Prize, offered by Sustainable Leadership Platform, as a recognition to activists’ leaderships. Luciana is a public speaker and a reference on climate investing agenda, for the media outlets. She has a Law degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and MBA at Columbia Business School.
