Felix Knidlberger

Felix Knidlberger is a Senior Investment Officer at the European Investment Bank (EIB). Since 2016, he has worked for EIB, the EU climate bank targeting climate and technology as well as growth funds in developing countries. During this period, he committed in excess of US$ 300 million in approximately 15 funds.  

For over 17 years, Felix has invested for impact with a focus on equity deals in emerging markets. He has a deep understanding of regional contexts, with hands-on experience in Africa, LatAm and MENA regions and having lived in Mexico, Argentina and Peru. He has also been a member of over 10 fund advisory boards, including chairman roles.

Previously he worked for 10 years for the International Finance Corporation out of Washington DC and Mexico City. Leading small teams, he invested direct equity, debt and sub-debt into financial institutions, committing around USD 350mm across LatAM, the Caribbean and Africa.
